Wilmer J. Osborne, 75, passed away at his home on Monday, August 23, 2010.
Jake was born January, 5, 1935 in Ash, NC and lived in Maryland for 43 years prior to moving to Abingdon 15 years ago. He enjoyed working with wood and was an incredible carpenter.
He was preceded in death by his parents, Bradley and Ruth Osborne; daughter, Sandra Gail Martin; brother, Robert Osborne; mother-in-law, Beatrice Jones; brother-in-law, C.D. Calloway; and sister-in-law, Mona Osborne.
Survivors include his loving wife of 53 years, Betty Jones Osborne; son-in-law, Larry Martin; brother, David Osborne, two sisters, Irma Jean Parsons and Mary Ella Hudson and husband, Tommy; and several nieces and nephews.
A graveside service will be held on Wednesday, August 25, 2010 at 10:00 a.m. in the mausoleum of Mountain View Cemetery in Bristol with Pastor Kenny Widner officiating.
In lieu of flowers memorial contributions may be made to the Wellmont Hospice House,280 Steeles Rd, Bristol, TN 37620.
