Yvonne Marie "Judy" Self Harless

Abingdon, VA – Yvonne Marie “Judy” Self Harless, age 76, passed on Friday, June 2, 2023, in Specialty Select Hospital in Bristol, TN.  Judy was a long-time employee of Columbus McKinnon and member of Spoon Gap Freewill Baptist Church.  She was preceded in death by her parents, Ross and Ora Fae Mitchell Self; husband, Melvin Harless; stepmother, Katherine Warren Self; and niece, Katy Urbanowski.

Yvonne is survived by her son, Melvin Wayne Harless and wife Susan of Abingdon, VA; sister, Edna Amos and husband Barry of Lebanon, VA; nephew, Joe Malone and wife Lisa of Abingdon, VA; and several other nieces and nephews.

Visitation with the family will be held 6-8 p.m. Tuesday, June 6, 2023, in the Main Street Chapel of Farris Funeral Service.  Graveside services will be conducted at 11:00 a.m. Wednesday in Forest Hills Memory Gardens with Rev. Herbert Bailey officiating.  Those wishing to attend the committal are asked to convene at the cemetery.
